CHSR Promotes Health Services Research and Provides Leadership in the Science of Health Delivery

CHSR invests in cross-disciplinary collaborative efforts with researchers and organizations at the local and national levels to develop and implement projects that address priority issues in the field of health services, with the ultimate goal of improving health outcomes for individuals and populations.

CHSR encourages inter-professional team-based research to deliver high value health care and supports the development of new investigators through education and training. CHSR has expertise in five key areas of health services research:

CHSR’s Office for Value and Innovation in Healthcare Delivery (OVIHD) Transforms Health System through Applying Systems Thinking and Re-Engineering Health Care Delivery

OVIHD has expertise in quality/process improvement and serves as the translational unit for CHSR to accelerate the discovery of new knowledge concerning efficiency and effectiveness of health care delivery models, with ultimate goal of scaling the next generation of solutions for improving health systems and overall population health.
