Corey Billups, OVIHD Intern
Corey is currently a graduate student at the University of Kentucky, completing a Master's Degree in Health Administration. During his time at UK, Corey has worked in the Emergency Department as an intern. In addition to working for OVIHD, he is also completing a graduate assistantship at UK Healthcare. Corey will graduate from UK in May 2018. After graduation, he hopes to complete an administrative fellowship.
Daniel Ficker, OVIHD Intern
Daniel earned his B.A. from Transylvania University in 2013. Following graduation Daniel served with AmeriCorps before coming back to Lexington to start a dual JD/MHA program at the University of Kentucky. Daniel has worked with UK’s Gill Heart Institute and will also be completing a risk management externship at UK this fall. Daniel will graduate UK in May 2018.
Anna L. Fugazzi, BS, Administrative Services Assistant
Anna has been with UK Healthcare since 2010, beginning as Administrative Support in the Department of General Surgery at the Surgical Specialties Clinic and then joining the OVIHD in 2015. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the UK College of Human Environmental Science in 2003.
Barbara Latham, MSN, BSN, Process Improvement Specialist
Barbara earned her Bachelors and Masters in Nursing from the UK College of Nursing. Before working in quality improvement, she spent 13 years as a bedside staff nurse at UK Hospital.
Christopher McLaughlin, MBA, SSBB, Health Systems Operations Engineer
Christopher is an Expert in Quality Improvement and Process Engineering (EQUIPE) for the Office for Value and Innovation in Healthcare Delivery (OVIHD). He joined OVIHD in 2015. Chris graduated with a BS in Mathematics from Brescia University and an MBA, focusing on Finance, from the University of Kentucky. Before joining UK, Chris worked as a consultant in Industrial and Supply Chain Engineering.
Joshua Sanchez, BS, MA, LSSBB, Health Systems Engineering Analyst
Joshua joined OVIHD in March 2017. He earned a Bachelor's degree and subsequent Master's of Art from Ball State University. He spent more than fifteen years in the jewelry industry before transitioning to process/quality improvement through the utilization of Lean processes and methodology.
Haley Vaigneur, MS, Health Systems Engineering Analyst
Haley joined OVIHD in 2016. She earned her Bachelors and Masters in Industrial Engineering from Clemson University with an emphasis in human factors in healthcare, followed by a fellowship in patient safety with the Veterans Affairs' National Center for Patient Safety.
Audrey Yates, MS, Clinical Analyst Principal
Audrey is an Expert in Quality Improvement and Process Engineering for OVIHD. She began her career at UK HealthCare in 2002 and joined the OVIHD in 2015. Audrey graduated with her MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan.
